Default Can stock MAF sensor fasteners be used with the steeda CAI (555-3120)

Before I sold my Mustang I took off the CAI that I had on it, which I am currently trying to sell, but I am having a hard time finding the fasteners that came with it (or I'm assuming they did) so my questions is, can stock fasteners for the mass air flow sensor be used on the Steeda intake kit? I would not want to misinform my buyer.

When I installed my Steeda (5 1/2 years ago), I don't recall replacing the MAF. I'm pretty sure that I used the OE MAF.

Yeah, the sensor itself remains stock-- I remember that part. I'm referring to the screws that hold it in place. I think they were like T-15 or T-20. It's not that I'm being cheap here, it's just that I have no idea where to even find those.

I sold a Steeda CAI not too long ago. The factory bolts will not fit the the Steeda MAF tapped holes. Go to Steeda's website and see what they exactly are. I know that the factory fasteners are a metric pitch. The Steeda is SAE. If I have time I wil try to see what the Steeda fasteners are exaclty.

Not good I've been on Steeda website, but even in installation instructions it doesn't say anything about the thread itself. I'll try taking it to Auto Zone to see if I can find anything that fits that I guess. Thank you

I think they are 10-32 X 5/8". They are short because they are blind tapped holes. I lost mine as well and had to get some from work and shortened them. I used stainless steel socket head cap screws.

I went to Auto Zone and could not find anything that fits. I ended up at Home Depot and I started getting frustrated because it seemed like even they didn't have anything that fits. It turned out the threads were stripped all the way in the beginning and the bolts just needed to be forced in a little. I went with double ended studs and set them in place with red loctite just to make sure whoever buys it does not remove them and has the same problem I did. They turned out to be M4-.7 and I went with the 1" long ones. Thank you for your inputs everyone
