Actually, that's not all that bad. What is the OD for an OE tire on a 12' V6? Too bad those couldn't be 16" wheels for even a more retro look.

cant you just adjust settings like RevsPerMile with any tuner. The gear ratio will still be different but at least your speedo and odometer and everything would be correct.
