If I had NO stang at all & had to get the "perfect" one, IMO it would be a 12 Comp Orange Boss or an 07 thru 09 GT500 in blue. However, too much $$$ into my 08 + drives + looks & sounds great to me!!!
05-09 rear (with CS rear bumper) and 2013 front. I feel that ford made the rears of the newer mustangs too round for my taste. But my combination with the 5.0 engine would be the best!
05-06. For two glorious years, it was as if Ford realized how absolutely stupid it is to put fake, functionless scoops all over an otherwise beautiful car. Then, in '07, they forgot.
Glad I'm not the only one who feels that way about fake vents and scoops. I'd love to get a '13 c/s that's at a dealer by me but they come with the fake scoops on the side, I guess to ram cool air into the imaginary engine in the trunk? I even went so far as to research and found that if you remove the scoops it leaves holes in the side of the so no go for me.
To answer the OPs question, I think the '13/'14 GT500 is the best looking since '05.
