Default Hood Problems

I have a quandry here. My '06 GT is having the common problem with paint bubbling on the leading edge of the hood. 1-2 years ago I had it fixed and thought that would be the end of it. Not so, 6 months or so it started to return. The shop that worked on it went back and re-did it and it looked great. Again, I thought it was fixed.
The other day I noiticed a new bubble starting. I touched base with the shop and this time they said they couldn't warrant it because it was a Ford design problem, something to do with aluminum being bonded to steel. I sent a nasty gram to the owner of the shop, reminding him I had had a lot of work done there. I kind of reacted emotionally.
I got an email back from him. He wants to help me, but said the problem is the original hood and it will never stop what it's doing. Then he did something unexpected, he said if I'd get another hood, he would paint it and install it free. Seems like a great offer.
Now, is there a different hood I can purchase, one that won't have this problem? Has Ford made a different hood for my car? If not, is there a good after market hood that won't bubble? I want to keep the original look to the car.
Anybody got any ideas??

I may have found a direction to go to fix this common problem. Late Model Restoration sells a "High Quality" steel reproduction hood for the 05-09 Mustang for $500, shipped free.

Why not get an aftermarket fiberglass hood? There are many styles to choose from. I too had the hood issue while it was still under warranty, I had it fixed. I haven't noticed it coming back yet. The Ford shop did say the only permanent fix was to get an aftermarket hood. I think if Ford knew there was an issue with the hoods, why didn't they step up and do the right thing and either, give us Mustang owners a new fiberglass hood or at least a discount on one?
