I ordered a PA alternator from AM last night to have it here by this weekend. I tried using a cardboard tube to isolate the whine. I'm having a really hard time telling if it's the alternator or the top right pulley. The alternator is passing a load right now car runs and the multimeter agreed. I guess the next step would be to take the belt off and turn the pulleys to see if one makes a sound?
