Spring's here!
I haven't posted much in the last few months, but now with Old Man Winter fading away I'm ready to get some work done on my girl!
Decided to give her a much needed bath last night. Looks pretty good but there is a lot of grime down low that will NOT come off.

Installed an SR brace while I was at it.

Car looks great! Love the rims, honestly I feel like the newer S197 wheels look better on the previous gen bodystyle lol.
I would need to see pics of the grime you were talking about, but chances are it's probably bugs and road tar/tire rubber right? I used some bug/tar remover and a little clay bar down by the wheel wells and side skirts and it cleaned everything up pretty nicely.

Have never owned a vert but I love my coupe and can't complain
Having lived in Fort Myers, you sir are correct. Only thing that sucked was the monsoons that last for about 10 minutes. Don't want to get caught outside in those!
I agree on the wheels looking better on the older S197's. I used to have the stock 17's and stock tires and when it was time to replace the tires I didn't want too because it would have been putting fresh tires on some beat wheels. So, I found the 19" take offs all ready to go for a decent price.
Lower body grim is probably tar by majority. I will tackle it again soon and work on that while I'm washing the undercarriage. Having car lifts is a beautiful thing.
Me too
