Default ABS Tone rings?

Does anyone have a picture of how the tone rings are orientated on the axles? I have not pulled my OEM axles out yet to install my new Moser's yet, I need to install the new tone rings I have on the new moser axles. Not sure which way they go on. Been looking all over the internet but, found nothing. Even my service manual I have does not show it.

It clearly says "ABS Tone rings", but I read "ABS ring tones" and was thinking WTF, what does an anti-lock brake system ringtone sound like.

When you slip it down over the axle, the tone ring goes to the pumpkin end of the axle, the lip goes to the wheel end. If that makes any sense.

I believe the ford manual I looked at says .002, but don't quote me on that. I will have to check when I get home. I am getting ready to put mosers in myself.

Thanks much! The service manuals I have don't say mush in the way of the tone rings so, I'm lost. The best I could measure with a dial caliper was a 2.805 ID on the ring and 2.810 OD on the axle. I know I may be off a bit measuring the ring ID with a caliper.

Let me know what you find, thanks again.!

It doesn't really address the interference fit, or does it? Not very clear -

What are you going to use to press the ring on the axle? Been thinking of ways to do it without a press. I know you should heat the ring to about 450 deg for the install.

I'll probably just go to a machine shop and have them pressed on
