Im looking to get the Steeda CAI and I'm wondering which tuner I should get with it? Is it the manufacture of the tuner that supplies the tunes for you or the company you buy the tuner from?

I just went to JBA here in San Diego and they told me I needed a $900 dyno tune after getting a CAI installed...I tried my best not to laugh at him when he told me that.

 

I just bought JLT intake and bama combo!! Best deal best hand held tunner it made my car feel like its in roids! No joke u could feel the power and motor scream!

 

You can buy a tuner preloaded with the manufacturers canned tunes (lame) or from companies that write excellent custom tunes like Brenspeed and American Muscle. The CAI doesn't really matter but it should be a tune-required CAI.

 

Get a tune from a reputable tuner. VMP, Lund or AED. There's much more room for improvement in many tunes.

 

Brenspeed or Bama for the tune and SCT device, any CAI they sell will work fine. The tune is the important part.
