It must be because your used to seeing your own car. I feel the same way about mine even though everyone's always complementing me on it. I let my brother drive it every now and then and I always watch him drive away. It helps somewhat, I just feel that I didn't catch a long and good glimpse of it!

Honestly I love the factory Torq-Thrust style wheels...I think they're a perfect fit for the car, and I'm too po' to buy a set of wheels right now (especially when the tires on the car are barely a year old). And I want to lower it more but I'm afraid I'll never be able to get a floor jack under it without driving up on some boards if I do. I have P springs on just the back now, but I'd like to bring the back down another half inch or so and lower the front 1". Ah someday...

honestly I haven't had mine very long, and its one of the plainer looking stangs being a Bullitt (no wings, no fogs, no flashy stuff). but I still catch people looking at it. i've seen people in everything from old hondas to newer BMWs/Mercedes looking at this plain jane looking mustang. i'd be willing to bet your car looks pretty special to everyone else. Mustangs just have this presence, they stand out just being what they are.

Then it's time to stop thinking about what it looks like and start enjoying only how it drives. At least for a while. The more pressure you put on yourself to add another visual mod now, the more likely it'll not end up being a good one in the long run.

To the average car guy-or car girl, any specialty car like the ones owned by pretty much everybody on here will get attention all the time. I notice EVERY Mustang on the road regardless of what kind, color etc. I also always notice other specialty cars in the same category like Camaro, Challenger and pretty much any muscle or sports car from 2014 down to the 1960s models.

The only people who aren't noticing your Mustang are the people on the road I like to refer to as NON DRIVERS. These are typical people in mini-vans or Prius' who are hardly aware of the fact they are driving a car in the first place and if so driving is their 3rd of 4th priority.

can 10.5 wide rims even fit on the front without issues? I wouldn't think so. mabe im wrong though.


also, do you have any issues with speedbumps/driveways with the sportlines?

I think the answer to your problem is obvious... Half of the fun of owning a Mustang is customizing it and making it your own. While your car is nice from the factory, get creative and find the special touches that make it fit how you like it. It's your car; go nuts and get ready for some dirty looks from the wife.
