Default Steeda UDP

Anyone have experience with removing steeda's udp. I have the chrysler jaw pullers however it won't even come close to removing this. Closet auto store is 30 miles one way so I am trying to find out if anyone else has pulled theirs off before I make the drive.

You need a puller like this..http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performan...89711/10002/-1 This is the one I used to pull my steeda pulley off when I supercharged my car

Chrysler jaw puller is for the factory crank pulley. A standard puller is used for Steeda

Do UDP's really make that big of a difference? And what is the down side to them?

I used the Chrysler removal tool and was also and inch to short. I put (if I remember correctly) a 5/8th socket in between and carefully placed it evenly so it would t damage anything. This confused the crap out of me at first since its the recommended tool to use.

18 dollar harmonic balancer puller from autozone worked, the steeda pullies have 3 - 3/8 - 16 nc threads that are used.

Wouldn't the car come with "underdrive" pulleys if there wasn't a down side to them?
