Trunk button

I just installed the trunk release switch in my 2005 and was wondering why it works but not the button on the key fob? The fob looks original Ford fob.

It may not of been set to your car. You can go to your Owners Manual and it gives the procedure to set up your FOB. It is a simple operation, and you can set up multiples if you want at the same time.
