I'm so close to a 2014 I can smell it. I'll be purchasing a 2014 5.0 before the year is up and currently saving a little more for the down payment and the first round of mods. I'll be using the X-plan that currently has $2000 in incentives to go along with it (customer cash). My question is what you all would do for the first round of mods? I'm having a hard time deciding between black, white, sterling grey, and race red, but I know which mods I'll be purchasing regardless of the color choice (I even created a spreadsheet comparing site prices).

Roush Axle back
Eibach Sportlines w/ appropriate dampers
Roush upper grille (or CDC gt500?)
window tint

If it were me, I'd go for race red. I love grey, don't get me wrong, but there's too many dull colors on the road these days. Stand out from the crowd! I'd have a tough time deciding between green, red, yellow, or blue.

I like your list. The Roush grille looks sexy on the new cars.

I say if you can keep it clean get it black! otherwise I say go for the red.

 

I think you got a solid list of mods there. Great starting point. I don't know out of the colors you listed I would probably do the white,red, sterling gray and black in that order. Best of luck and be sure to post pics.

 

Sterling is my vote. Always a fav of mine. Id do tint, then axle backs, then CAI/Tune, then wheels, then the rest.

 

Your mod list is missing MGW. First mod.

 

my idea is to go with sterling gray with black accents. Either that or white with black accents, or black on black. all those upgrades i would consider too, just not sure what order. Probably do the intake first, then springs, then exhaust, then appearance.

 

When you lower the car your going to want to drive the car for about a month.

Then get the alignment and camber checked. Good chance your front and rear camber may be out of spec. In that case you would need a panhard bar for the rear tires and either camber bolts or camber caster plates. The plates are really only needed if you want to adjust the cars camber on the fly if not the camber bolts will do the same thing.

If you do end up needing to adjust camber which you most likely will. Look at the Whiteline panhard bar. Whiteline is a tad bit more spendy but its high quality stuff.
