Default Is My 2007 GT500 Clutch Going? Symptoms Exlpained Within...

I have a 2007 GT500 with roughly 26,000 miles on it. Only modifications are a 2.50" VMP Pulley, SLP Loudmouth Exhaust, JLT 123mm Intake, and a Bama 93 Octane Tune.

Well, today I was on the freeway going maybe 50mph in 3rd gear and decided to gun it. As the RPM's raised, the engine felt like it was bogging down. The RPM's didn't spike up, it just felt like I was losing power.

I did it a few more times to confirm and the same thing happened.

What is going on here? Could this be my clutch? Bad Gas? Could the tune all of a sudden have gone bad?

Thanks.

I wouldnt suspect clutch issues if the RPMs didn't spike. I'd datalog it.

I would change the fuel filter...might be plugging and starving the injectors...

It doesn't sound like your clutch is going, if the RPM's didn't spike. I would look into your Plugs, Fuel Filter, clean the TB and MAF etc... We can also look into your tune and help you troubleshoot! Just give the Bama team a call with any questions you may have...

Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!
