Default 07-09 GT500 Armrest

I am looking to replace the hard plastic armrest in my 2006 GT. I have noticed that the 07-09 GT500's have a leather armrest that I could order from Ford. Is the GT500 armrest a fully cushioned armrest or is it just basically a leather cover over the hard plastic one?

I have one from amustangrocks and it is definitely a worthwhile invest with tons of leather and stitching options. The nice thing about this option is you simply install it as a cover over your existing armrest.

If there's plastic under mine, I can't tell. It feels all leather in the GT500.

I'm using the same brand. Nice quality and looks great.

I had not seen this company before. I like the alcantara option. Would match my seats.

Another AM vote, I have armrest cover, shift boot, and ebrake boot that all match my Roush RTC seats. LOVE them.

@shotokan, How do you like the ebrake boot? I saw he makes them too and I've always wanted an improvement over the stock one. How hard is the install on that?
