With an auto and a stall you can touch 10's. I am about to part mine out and trade mine in, it's a 5 speed when I get the new coyote I will be getting an auto for drag racing.
is the conservative roush tune still fun or exciting to drive? Does tune like vmp lean out the engine more? more hp?

A custom dyno tune would give you more hp, but the canned Roush tune is still going to be a huge improvement over stock. The shop you are having the install done at can probably do a custom tune for you. But yes to answer the leaning out question they will lean it a lil and increase timing, in my opinion, I would have a custom tune either directly or get with a tuner of your choice to do a remote tune.

I would probably stick with the roush tune for awhile see how it goes and decide from there. Gonna call the roush specialist again see if they can throw in a dyno run before and after the install.

Not a bad idea, they might charge you around a 100 extra each time though, stock through an auto id say mmmm 370-380ish from other stock I have seen, but times are better than number in my opinion

Heat soak isn't a huge problem for the tvs, not saying it cant happen just not very common on normal driving. Now if you take it to the track and beat on it all the way there and then hot lap the car yes you while probably see some heat soak. Brakes and tires go hand in hand something a lot of people tend to forget, wider front tires also help you brake faster. When you apply your brakes its your tires that have to transfer this movement. If you have the brembo package no, if not I see no reason for a dd to have to upgrade them. Do some stainless brake lines if you want its a huge improvement over the stock expanding rubber ones, maybe some super blue break fluid and some good pads and you will probably stop twice as good as stock. this is MY OPINION ON THIS.

afco hear exchanger would help, make sure when doing your gauges install a IAT guage then, wide band is also a must. Why not go with a Paxton they don't heat up as fast and are just as good as the tvs if not better. Guy you can find on here or on www.S197forum.com, screen name should be Beefcake, he can get you the best deal on a vortech or a Paxton. He runs something like 8.5 with his, he was trapping at over 166 at a recent event.
