To each his/her own. I ordered my '07 GT with the spoiler delete option. I'm not aware of any kit from aftermarket vendors. I think the trunk lid is too small to have that factory wing look good. A ducktail spoiler or some of the other wings might be okay.

Yes, do take care in filling holes if you decide to delete. It was posted here previously, but do the job right the first time.

I'm partial to spoilers but certain cars can pull off the delete just like certain cars can pull off 20" wheels.

I like the look of the spoiler on my yellow GT 'Vert (spoiler painted black). It's a personal choice. Do what you like.

I love the look of the spoiler delete. To me it definately gives the car a more retro look.

IMO, to pull off a spoiler delete on the 05-09, you need a strong rake, some fat tires and a killer stance. It's been done, but if not done right, it looks like hell. A GT500 spoiler is a great, cheap, easy alternative.

I paid to have mine filled in. I put a Street Scene duck tail on it which I like but have considered pulling it off and going wingless.

On the SN095 wingless was the best look. On the S197 only the Bullitt looks good wingless. Just my

IMO it looks best naked. I even deleted the 3rd brake light on mine:

The ducktail was a great look on the 60's models, but on the S197's it often ends up looking tacky.

smooth and sexy is how i recommend it.

Just out of curiosity, since my plan is to go wingless, see how I like it, and then either keep it or go with a GT500 spoiler, where is everyone getting them "cheap"? eBay? Are people really buying knockoff spoilers?

American Muscle sells it for $300. Ain't exactly cheap.
