Default Time for a New TOP!!!

I have an 05 Convertible... with a Leaky Top - Rear Window fell in.. :-(

I can not afford to have someone do this for me. So, I am going to do it myself... Has anyone had any experience with this? I have replaced convertible top on an MG... I know. Its not the same, but I am fairly good with mechanical stuff.

Any Vendor to look at? Or, any vendors to avoid? Vinyl or Cloth? Right now, I have vinyl.

There is bunch of "How To" videos on youtube, might help. I always liked cloth tops.

SalManilla,

Sounds like you've had some rough luck with your vert. Sorry to hear that!

Unfortunately, I don't have much experience with installing a new convertible top, since i've always been a coupe guy myself. I'm sure there's a write-up somewhere on the forum from a previous member doing an install though!

However, I can help point you in the right direction for a new top. We carry a full replacement vinyl top with heated glass that's made from OE quality materials. I think you'll be very pleased with it.

I hope this helps narrow your search!

Shane
