Talking Made the jump...

Well, I decided to make the jump from 2010 GT to 2014 GT Vert...

Couldn't give up the color though. I'll upload pictures once I can actually take a couple! I didn't realize how much I missed having a vert till I got back behind the wheel of one.

And I don't think I have to tell you guys how great that 5.0 is!

Having verts has greatly reduced my desire to have a motorcycle or stick my head out the window at speed with my tongue lolling about.

Grazt on the new ride!

Congratulations, I also have plans of trading my 10 GT for either a 14/15 vert or a used Shelby ragtop.

But why go auto?

BTW, like red much? lol

Congrates. I couldnt imagine why you would want to trade up. I mean the 4.6 is only what 200ish HP less. You wont even be able to feel the extra power.

But I do want to ask: With the '15s coming out so soon is there any reason you didnt wait for it? No judgment here, just asking.

As to why I traded (and why its an auto) it was a bit of a spur of the moment thing...

I had been looking as I knew I wanted a new car. I had considered waiting for the 15's but having seen some of the current renderings, I just have not been a fan of what they are supposed to look like (yes, I know that we dont know exactly what they'll be like, but still so far it has not met my preference).

So when I got to the dealer, I looked over their inventory and aside from a rouch (which was more than I wanted to spend) and the car I bought, nothing caught my eye. So I was talking to them about ordering one when the manager came out and told me that he needed to "meet some numbers for the month" and offered me a smoking deal on both my trade and the A6 vert. All told I saved a ton of $, made more on my trade than I was expecting, and got a car I absolutely adore. It also didn't hurt that I enjoyed the "manumatic" shifting on the car more than I thought I would.

Also, where I am near the beaches here in Fla during certain times of the year traffic gets bumper to bumper and crawls at <5 mph... As fun as a manual is, it gets to be a headache in stuff like that.

And yes, I am addicted to red apparently! Thanks to all for the kind words!

Nice move! Congrats on your new GT and switching to a vert. I'm always jealous of vert Mustangs when going on late night cruises!

Nothing wrong with an automatic - especially in traffic. Plus, they both are 6 speeds, so you don't lose any gears compared to the manual. Auto's are GREAT!
