Ineed some advice guys help me decide
Hey guys whats up ok here is my dilemma I have a 2007 V6 I financed it lol not really thinking but i'm stuck with it for a while and no possible way I could get a GT so I have no plans to get rid of it at all so since I have it I want to mod it I would love to have the ground pounding sound of a v8 and the power I know a v6 will never sound like a v8 so my real question is should I try to pick up a crashed GT with good parts and just do a swap or go super charger what can I look to get top HP and torque out of a six apposed to swapping to GT sorry for the long paragraph but had to explain trading for a GT is out of the question thanks for reading

Phew! When I was in school, there was this little black dot called a "period". It helped people know where the end of a sentence was. Must be this "new English"...
An SC'd 4.0 can put down RWHP similar to that of 4.6 but I can't rattle off numbers. Hopefully others will post up.
Upgrading a V6 to a V8 is pretty labor intensive and would require changing the PCM, suspension, differential (not sure about the tranny). IMO, you'd be better off trading for a GT.

LOL@ NUKE. Anyway, he's right even if you find a donor car the swap is extremely labor intensive but it can be done. An X charger can put done some numbers but the 4.0L is limited in strength.

Cai, tune gears, tb, headers and x pipe. That's about as far as I Woulda gone with my 07. Those are the only mods worth doing if you want a 30-40hp. It's not worth supercharging unless you get a v8.the swap would be too much work and you'll have issues, and by that time you'd be spending as much as what a gt would cost ya. But do what you please.

Forgive the stupid question, but I have to ask. How can you not afford to trade-in for a GT, but you can afford to buy a supercharger or do a motor swap? If you have the cash on-hand for that stuff you should trade-in your V6, and maybe use some cash for down payment.
Buy a GT. <- That's a period at the end of that sentence.

1. CAI & tune = roughly 15-20 RWHP on the 4.0
2. gears = no RWHP gain but will make you quicker, not faster
3. TB = no RWHP gain unless you're SC'd or heavily modded internally
4. Headers = minor, single digit RWHP gains on an otherwise unmodded 4.0L
5. X-pipe = minor, if any, RWHP gains on the 4.0. Changing from single to duals on the 4.0 is for pretty and exhaust tone.
