pressing hazardous light 5 times

Default pressing hazardous light 5 times

So I was messing around with my 14 gt stang and pressed the hazardous light 5 times and something came on saying something about my tires I beleive...can anyone tell me what this is about and if I maybe reset one of the settings?

I know the information there is about a Focus, but I believe this is what you did. You triggered the TPMS or "Tire Pressure Monitoring System"
Basically you told the car you wanted to calibrate the sensors to the air pressure in your tires. Follow the instructions on that page (it says press the hazards 6 times, but maybe it's 5 for your car) and see if that works.

I didn't know we had a hazardous light. Is it hazardous to push it? I assume you mean the hazard (4-way) flashers.

That MAY be described in your OM unless Ford intended it for the shop guys only and didn't want us "civilians" fooling with it. But if it works, superb.
