Ok so I have a gt509 throttlebody practically given to me for $50
The problem is I don't have an adapter plate and would prefer to not use one. Does anyone know if this is possible? If not where could I find one cheap? I looked on fleabay but only the bbr was on there. If I can get away without using one I would but how???

I know I won't see any gains or very minimal of 1-3rwhp at peak so please don't harp on that.

Also is any tuning needed?

 

the adapter plate is there for a reason, the physical connections between the gt500 TB and the stock 4.6 intake arent the same, so the adapter plate is needed to connect them

Ok gonna go ahead and buy the adapter what about the tuning?

I plan on roush charging but before I do I'm going to buy EVERYTHING else.
