Its to be expected with the major manufacturers nowdays.
No like I mentioned, this is my third new car in the past few years (first was a Honda hybrid since I wanted to be sensible, but I hated it and sold it at a loss 7 months later, the second was a Volkswagen GTI that I still have) and every other car I have purchased throughout my life has been new. This is the first one that has had any problems.

I understand things happen, and that no matter what car you buy, something can go wrong. I just hold that it is frustrating. It doesn't matter if you spend $10,000 or $1,000,000 on a new car, it would be nice not to experience problems. Perhaps it is just a fantasy. Maybe one day we will have nanorobots that will fix everything before we even are aware of a problem.

Trust me, I am fully aware that I am over thinking this situation and perhaps I am being overly critical. I have been having a rough time in life lately, and while I know I am fortunate, it just seems like things keep going awry. In life you just have to let the little things go.

On this day, thanksgiving, I will keep my mind on the things for which to be thankful, and think about my family from which I am separated. I hope everyone has a great day!

I received my vehicle back today. As it turns out, the right rear wheel sensor had failed. A failed sensor is not a big deal and I am thankful it was a simple fix. Would have been nice not to have to deal with any issues, but in the end it was not too bad. Furthermore, being familiar with the manufacture of such sensors, it is not uncommon to see them fail shortly after the manufacturing process.

I'm really glad you had a quick and easy fix. For me, I have only had one issue, and it was a bad subwoofer from my factory Shaker Pro.

I'm liking the car's lack of issues so far.

Usually - but not always - this is the case. An assumption of it being a case of overthinking doesn't necessarily make it case closed.

wcgman has a point, as anybody who knows about a module that it took up to the "C" suffix to fix a certain fairly rare Advancetrac glitch knows. It's good to hear that OP wasn't experiencing that, though I wouldn't have expected it with a 2014.

Glad it worked out for you. Sorry I had my rant...just wasn't in the mood that day for pleasantries and tolerance. Let's leave it at I don't like the holidays as much as I would like to From a reliability standpoint, I think that you've bought a good car, but it's not unheard of to have minor issues that need ironed out...and yes it sucks when it happens. I've heard it said recently that passion can be exploited and as such, it sounds like you are passionate about your mustang. Welcome to the family and again, apologies for being a jerk.
