Hey guys. Quick question.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the v6 and the v8 version of the roush axle back? Are they the same thing? I'm thinking of buying a used axle back, but I want to make sure I'm getting the GT version if there is a difference.

The inlet sizes are smaller on the V6 exhaust. 2.5 Vs 3 inch. Otherwise the construction and hanger locations are the same.

That said... A V6 axle back should cause a teeny bit more back pressure on a GT.

bTW... Buying used... No warranty. they don't transfer over between vehicles.

 

I bought mine used and it works perfectly fine, as if it were brand new. I wouldn't worry about it. Not so sure on the sizes though.
