Does anyone know if a stock 2012 GT Strut Tower Brace will fit an 06 GT?

I see braces advertised for 05-14 so I assume yes but just wanted to be sure.

 

I have heard some people say they do, and others say that they don't clear by half an inch. Do you have a plenum cover over your intake manifold? lots of aftermarket strut tower braces will not clear the cover.

 

It will not fit, I have tried the stock STB off my 13 GT on my fathers 05GT and it does not clear the intake manifold.
