Default part question

pulled into my driveway the other day and had a scraping noise as I started down. sounded like I had bottomed out on the rocker panel. I'm not lowered so I thought it was odd. When I looked under the car I had a piece of plastic hanging down. it is the piece that covers the fuel lines right under the drivers side. it has broken around the nut that hold up the back end. Does anybody know the name/part number for this? how expensive is it?

Thanks

I would call it a fuel filter cover or shield. Shouldn't be expensive, but knowing Ford....

WHich piece are you needing?

http://www.silverstatefordparts.com/oem-ford-parts.html

If it's number 2, then it lists for 160 and sells for about 90 from these guys. It isn't a cheap plastic shield.

I'll have to look again but the heat shield is the only piece in that diagram that is big enough. it doesn't look easy to replace. even though it is not cheap plastic shield is it actually made from plastic?

$83.00 plus shipping from us.

If it's just broken around a mounting hole you might be able to buy or fabricate a washer to repair what you have.

If he's talking about the plastic cover for the fuel filter that is located right under the drivers door. The diagram looks to be for the fuel tank.

Here's a diagram from the same site for Rockers, Pillars and floor.

Not sure if it's number 16 you're looking for that's the closet I found.

After looking some more, those look to be deflectors for the exhaust, as they have them for left and right. Sorry.

It is the plastic cover for the fuel filter. I didn't notice that the diagram was for the fuel tank. I haven't found the part I am talking about on any site yet. There used to be some links on Mustang Forums for online repair manuals. I thought hat might have it but I can't find the link anywhere.
