Default Code p1299!? Overheating problem only when driving...

Soooo I'm just going to copy and paste another thread I found because this same thing is happening to me.... Anyone know what the cause is?....

"So, I am driving along this afternoon and cruising. I go to pass someone and I have limited power, like I'm on 3 cylinders and my car is bogging down and not moving. I look down at the guages and the CEL is on, my Temp Needle is MAXED out, and Temp light is on. I coast over into a parking lot. Park the car, pop the hood, and nothing noticeable is going on. Its not over heating, it's got water. I shrug my shoulders and walk back and start the car. And it starts up like nothing happened. Of course the CEL is still on, I just haven't had time to pull the code.

Anyone think what may have happened here? I have an idea but will reserve my opinion in order to not skew any other opinions." Boozshey
