Default Odd braking issue

Sometimes if I accelerate hard and spin the tires a bit, (traction control may have engaged shortly) then go to brake immediately after or up to like 10 seconds later, the brakes feel very odd and pulsey and weak. I'm just lightly braking so ABS shouldn't be engaging . It takes longer to stop and the pedal feels very odd and this concerns me a bit.

Anyone else notice this or have this happen? I have the normal non-brembo brakes.

Any solution or advice?

Hello Andy13186,

You should speak with the service manager at your Ford Dealer. He is in the best position to ensure a proper diagnosis, and will be able to provide available options and/or coverage for any work needed.

You can schedule an appointment online here. Let me know the outcome.

What happens if you turn off traction control and stability lock (if you have it), and then do a burn out?
When your traction control kicks in, it uses the rear brakes to keep your car from spinning out until they heat up, then cuts the gas to the engine, or both. If you heat up the rear brakes enough, it might make your brake pedal spongy.
