Exclamation Problems with sct and ecu

Ok last night I had installed some new brisk plugs to be able to run my nitrous. After installing them I plugged the programmer in as usual and loaded up the nitrous tune that all went fine. I took the car out and noticed it wasn't liking the tune at all so I stopped in at a mcdonalds to return it to the previous tune. When putting this tune in the programmer said that their was a error and to return to stock if car does not start. So I try to start the car and it doesn't so I then try to return it to stock. It gets to 36% and gives me the same response. So after several more attempts with the same results the sct stops working all together. Luckily I lived about 5 minutes from where I was and had a buddy with me. I towed it back to the house and after about 1 hour of pushing him and I got it in the garage, by then it was about 1045pm so I figured we needed beer...This morning I plug the sct into the computer and it wont turn on even through the computer. So I am stuck would getting a new programmer even help also did it screw up the computer now on the car. Im kinda stuck right now on figuring this out.

Give SCT a call. I had a similar problem with the tuner I had with my 2008 mustang. I called SCT, and shipped the tuner to them. They were able to repair the tuner without losing the data that was on the tuner.

Have you tried connecting it to a computer to see if it initializes and can be accessed with the SCT software? If it can, see if you can back up your stock tune before sending it to SCT for repair.

If it's not working, hopefully SCT can fix it without losing data. I had an Xcal 2 quit on me that I had sent to SCT for repair and lost everything on the tuner.

I wound up having to get it flashed back to stock at a local shop, cost me $150.00.

Good luck!

Ok so I talked to sct and it has to go back. Luckily I have all tunes saved on the computer. I think they are going to have to just replace it. It wont even get power from the computer. Good news is he said it shouldn't have done any damage to the car, bad news is the car is going to be parked for about 2 to 3 weeks.
