I know bama, brenspeed, lund, aed,... the list goes on are all popular mail tuners. My question is: Does anyone run Torq Tunes, and if so what are your thoughts ?

 

I may be making myself look like an idiot but what is a Torq Tune?

 

Never heard of them myself either, though I definitely don't know all the tuners out there. I've got a VMP tune myself.

 

7 years on the forum and I never heard of Torq Tuning.

I read about them on another mustang forum, but i had never heard of them so I decided to ask around.

 

I'm surprised so few have heard of a torque tune. Could be that they just aren't that popular as I can't remember the last time I heard them discussed. Could also be that they are (were?) more popular with the 4.0 crowd. Generally seemed a choice for guys on an otherwise stock or near stock set up. The torque tune is simply a tune that designed to maximize your torque. Gives you more off the line and down low power for around town type fun.
