What I did this winter, what was on your to do list?

Did he give you dyno numbers? Its a great place to have your engine built. If I had more then 21,000 miles on mine, I would have given it more thought. Or if the price was in the $6,000 range ;-)
I can get my 4.6 block forged with new hotrod cams for about $6,000 so, I am thinking about that. With all the money I have spent on my baby in the past year, big nut to swallow right now.

My wife was cool about it as well. She knew I had wanted to do this for awhile. Plus were building a new house next spring.
So I made her a shirt for when we go to a car show that says
I get a new house
He got a built motor
Then there is a picture of woman smiling with the words HAPPY WIFE, HAPPY LIFE.

Got in a couple of track days at NJMP. Ran down and passed a Roush Mustang with a "427" on the hood at least four times in four 30-minute sessions on the first day of a 2-day event (the dry day). Got to drive one hot lap in a new LT1-powered 7-speed Corvette (what an amazing car).
The second day was about like this every single lap ↓↓↓ and running hard in the rain can be way more educational (not to mention a whole lot more fun) than you might think. You'd be surprised how little water actually made it into the car (at a track day it is required that any window next to an occupied seat remain open).
I also settled on the tires I'll be doing future track days on (the Corvette I drove runs on the run-flat version of these things). Now I'm just waiting on four Forgestars to get built (hint: 9.5" GT500 wheels would look positively narrow in a side by side comparison).

That's awesome. Why do your windows have to stay down? Did you happen to get any pics of the vette you were driving

I guess it's in case you ever needed help from the outside to get out of the car. A secondary reason might have something to do with not getting showered with glass should your helmet strike a closed window.
Sorry, no. All I had with me was the GoPro, and that stayed mounted in my car all day.

Rear LCAs
Relocation brackets
Upper adj UCA
Different wheels
MGW shifter
Steeda rear sway
Koni yellows on all fours
Whiteline Watts
C/C plates
Slowly working on a spoiler less lid to prep, paint, and to put on.
Still have to do the front struts and plates. Plates should be here tomorrow but it's been been most of the winter that it's been on jack stands. We were actually in the 50s last week up here, but now just got yet another dumping of snow last night ... :/
