That just means putting two nuts on there and tightening them against each other, then using the inner nut to attempt to turn out the stud. Quite often the only good way to get threaded studs out.

Gotchya, yeah I didn't try that, but it all worked out so far. I don't THINK I have any leaks, but then again I'm not 100% sure how to tell.

From what I've read the problem with the tuner is something I have to talk to SCT about. With that being said if you could PM me an email for the bama team just so I can send them a message and see what they say that would be great.
Good to hear man! Stainless Works makes a killer header for sure. You'll love how well they last in the long run.

I just sent you a PM with Bama's direct email address. In case you want to ask them any questions while you're talking to SCT. Hit me up if you cause use my assistance with anything else!

Usually if you have leaks at the header flange you'll know...they sound like an engine tick.

I thought mine were leaking, just turned out to be increased noise coming from the header and leaks around the midpipe connections.

Yeah I think I may have a leak around the midpipe, I haven't had a chance to check yet. There is definitely more noise, but my friend said he didn't hear the "tick" that would be a leak from the flange.

Ticks from the headers are normal. I reused several manifold studs too.

Glad to hear you got it done yourself. You definitely have earned your man card!! Hope you wore gloves too....or your hands are hamburger. LOL

Sucks you couldnt load the tune....so frustrating. Nice it finally was resolved.

Are you happy with the tone and new power?

Yes, gloves were a MUST here, my hands still got a little messed up since I had to take them off to thread some of the bolts here and there.

I'm very happy. These stainless works headers sound freaking awesome, and the butt dyno is happy. Its about the same feeling I had when I first got the car. I love driving it around even more now.
