Default Fail safe mode

This afternoon something odd happened. After climbing in my stang and starting it up, I headed to class. Less than a mile down the road it goes into fail safe mode. It has done this a time or two before, one of the times being before all the mods. So, at the first stop sign I shut the car off and crank it back up. No more fail safe mode and driving normaly. Anyone ever have this happen? I find this so odd simply because its not a usual occurance.

Depending on how the tune is setup, If the car senses any spark knock it can go into safe mode. Does it have an error code?

Very odd that it did it before any mods when it was completely stock. I would contact whoever gave you the tune first and if that doesn't work you might have to show the dealer the problem.

I keep my Predator in the console compartment all the time in case I get a code I need to check. The code(s) should still be there in your car's computer - best to hook up your Predator and see what code was thrown.
