Default Panel Pins

Where can I get the push pins that hold the trunk lining panels in place? I also need the 2 piece retainers, one on each side, the ones that push onto the small studs back of the tail lights on my '06 GT.

That sorta stuff your better off just going to the deeler. Otherwise you'll end up with clips that don't match etc.. I'm nit picky tho lol

Yea, I'll try the dealer tomorrow. I asked them about them once some time ago and the guy looked like a deer in the headlights. If they can't do any good I may try a junk yard.

Any auto parts store should have them. I got a bag of 25 of them for maybe 8$. They matched just fine and I always have some around.

Lowes also sells them. They are in the drawers there where the nuts, bolts, screws, etc.. are.

Pretty sure you can also pick them up in the "Help!" section at Advance Auto Parts/Autozone. Every manufacturer uses those push pins.

Yeah but what looks like it will fit, doesn't. Help has been out of touch for almost a decade now in that area (push pins).

Just go to ford parts giant. Get the OEM pins there. Granted, you need to order them in packs of 3-4 but even at that, the cost of 3-4 + shipping is less than what the dealer is charging for 1-2!

I've used that site for many OEM Motorcraft/FoMoCo parts (body pins included). My only complaint is that their shipping is a bit slow for the free one so I usually opt for one of the non-free ones.

Lucked out. Stopped at dealer. Got (2) ea. of packs of 4 of the small pins. Only needed a couple, but now I have spares and they are not easy to find. Where I REALLY lucked out was with the larger 2 piece fastener, one on each side that grips onto a stud. I really only needed 1 of the inside piece. He laughed and said Ford no longer sells these, but then reached under the counter and came up with one. Some other guy had ordered some time ago and never picked it up. He just tossed it to me and said those two beautiful words-no charge. Car is back together and I even have some spares. Damage for the 2 pks of 4, $8.
