It looked like the stock throttle body in the video.
I agree, floating idle is not normal. With my current setup I get a floating idle for about 3 drive cycles after I load a tune, but it shouldn't be running into that with the whipple unless they were doing some tuning magic to get you stable. The datalogs should help them figure out what's going on, and get the tune dialed in.

Yea, BAMA sent me instructions for datalogging, which Im going to do once I get off work. For whatever reason the communist PC here at work (fed gov) wont let me open jpcracing's site... been tryin all day lol. They may have been doing some wierd magic to get it going.

And yea, its stock TB per the instructions


Oh and just wanted to say thanks to you guys for helping me figure it out, great bunch of people... and especially dan for dealing with my slow payment method

too bad I had to ditch the catch can for now... didnt have the right hoses to adaptors to make it work with the elbow connection
