Default ABS/Traction control light issue

Seems all I am doing is posting issues recently. So yesterday I noticed my ABS light came on, and my TCT turned off. If I trun the car off and let it sit a while, they will go off, but come back on after driving for a while. Any ideas?

Have your ABS Speed Sensors checked. Most likely one of them is failing. I had the same issue a couple years ago.

Are you running staggered sized tires with different O.D.'s? Significant differences can cause ABS/TCS to light up.

I do have a staggered set up, but I've had that for years now. I'll try cleaning them and see what happenes, if its till comes on I'll get them checked I guess.

Hello yourmyboybh1026,

You should speak with the service manager at your Ford Dealer. He is in the best position to ensure a proper diagnosis, and will be able to provide available options and/or coverage for any work needed. Also, remember repairs done at a Ford Dealer come with a 24 months/unlimited miles warranty.

You can schedule an appointment online here.
