Default Axle Ratio Tune

I have a 2011 Mustang GT Premium. I want to use my Bama Tuner for my axle ratio. Can I tune to 4.10 without damaging engine/transmission? Or do I have to leave it at stock?

I'm not a gear head so please keep your response simple enough for me to understand.

You need actual gears to change the gear ratio, then you use your tuner to let the engine know how to calculate your speed as shown by the speedometer.
Changing the gears to 4.1 won't damage your engine or transmission, although it might cause your tires to smoke and wear out prematurely... LOL.

Yes you can use your handheld tuner to change the ratio so your speedo is correct. If you can't figure it out I'm sure AM will walk through it with you over the phone

^ This is correct. Once you install your 4.10 Gears you can use your Bama Tuner to change the gear ratio. That will not cause any damage to your Mustang's engine/trans etc..

Feel free to hit up the Bama team directly and they'll walk you through the process! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

To bad my tuner doesn't allow me to change from a Mustang to a Lamborghini.

If I had a Lamborghini I'd sell it and buy 2-3 mustangs and still have $$$ to mod them left over.

Way cool cars, but just not my cup of tea.
