HELP! I removed the T shifter from my wifes 2009 V6 mustang today so I could repaint the handle due peeling aluminum cutting her hand. So I went to reinstall it and upon depressing the side button the button would stick. So I was trying to figure out what was going on and then the stalk that runs up the shift lever came out and I cant get it back in properly. There was a clicking sound when the stalk came out. At this point I'm really confused so I'd appreciate any help on how I should go about putting this back together. My wife needs to get to work tomorrow!
