Got the `06 mustang out today to give it a good cleaning inside and out, wiped it down, and took it out for a bit of a drive... then I went over to storage and pulled the `70 Mach 1 out and took it home to give it the same treatment. After wiping it down and took it out over the same roads I took the `06 on,, and I honestly have to admit, I like the Mach 1 better.. It does have a v8 compared to the v6 in the `06, so yea the power is there. It seems to brake better, it sounds better naturally, cornering is actually pretty equal to the `06. Anyway,, after I put it away and got back into the `06,, I had to admit I really like driving the Mach 1 better.

uh Yea I am. for a nice Sunday drive on the back roads, going to the beach, car shows,,, yea I`ll take the red Mach 1` with the 351 4 brl, any day.

For long drives , weekend trips.. I`ll drive the black on black `06 with the pony package.

I think that is apples to oranges comparison. Maybe the Mach 1 compared to a 5.0 would be a little better comparison. I think I would like the Mach 1 better than a V6 too!
