Note: I'm looking at these for my 2006 Mustang GT, I don't have a 5.0 mustang.

 

I don't have that set up. But my exhaust is catless and it was deafing before. I invested $130 on dynomat and it's so much quieter in the car it's crazy. Best mod I've done in a while.

 

I cant vouch for it on your year model, but on my '12 5.0. i have cat delete and GT500 mufflers. It sounds......... AMAZING. the right amount of sound to make your presence known when you want to, and barely any drone during driving. The only thing about it is the slight smell (which i like) and when i start it in my garage, it is loud until the idle drops when the car warms up. so if you live in an apt complex or shared garage (non connected garages in an apt complex), this would be the only thing i would look out for. but my god does it osund sexy together.

 

I have gt500 axlebacks and I want to make it a little louder. I am debating between an off road x pipe or an after cat x pipe.

 

Simon what kind of exhaust setup do you have now? And how is the volume?
