Hello everyone,

2007 GT/CS --- Are the side scoops mounted with screws? I have to repaint one of mine and wondering if I have to remove seat and inside side panel or not. I've tried to google and search and cannot seem to get a 100% definite answer.

If there is is screws and or bolts is there any links or quick instructions on how to remove the inside panels?

2010+ are mounted with double sided adhesive tape and can be removed with hair dryer and piece of string.

Yours are mounted flush so I'm not sure what the *best* technique is, but I suspect they are also affixed with double sided adhesive tape.

 

Yes they have push pin like tabs with plastic mounts from predrilled holes into the body panel. You may have better luck pushing them out from removing the interior panel. Also should have double sided tape as well. Wish I could remember how to remove that panel, but if I recall its not too hard to figure out.
