I just bought my '14 GT with the Track Apps a few days ago. It has been raining almost every day so I haven't been able to try them out.

How accurate are the 1/8 and 1/4 mile timers? Are they consistent and reliable enough to compare to actual time slips?

 

I'd say they are reasonably accurate. If you want to know for sure, have someone run a stopwatch in the car with you.

 

If we ever have any dry weather down here, I want to try a couple of 1/4 mile pulls. I guess I can always go to the track next weekend and get a real time slip to compare it to.

 

I always wondered the same thing. If you do go to the track and compare, please post your results! Would be very interesting to know.

 

I'll definitely update this thread when I get some good comparison runs in.

 

Many thanks! Would be great to know how accurate it is compared to actual track time slip. Then it would be possible to estimate track app times more accurately. Would be great to run both at the same time!
