installed a off road x pipe made by mac, had a lift so install was a breeze. however their is suc\h a load rattle i want to take it off. it sounds like ites comming from the flowmaster, could it be something else

It could be absolutely anything you loosened. Put the car up on the lift, start it up, and then hunt for the noise. Also check for clearance issues, especially around the new parts.

i did that, everything is tight, and when isounds real good. in fact to be honest it sounds good while driving as long as i am not between 2 to 4 thousand rpms, then does she rattle

blackhorse, i put the pypes offroad x-pipe on my car and got some bad rattle too. it is the rear heat shields. stuff a shop towel between the heat shield and body of car and start car. i bet the rattle will be gone. good luck, jt

Just remember to REMOVE the shop towel once you have located the source of the rattle. Yeah I know that would seem obvious but stupider things have been known to happen.
