Default Engine Codes P2254 and P0059

Hey guys!

So, I've been reading different searches everywhere on a google search on the issues with having these two engine codes.

For those that don't know:
P0059 - H02S Heat Resistance (Bank 2, Sensor 1)
P2254 - O2 Sensor Negative Current Control Circuit/Open

Currently, the car runs smoothly, minus the concern that something might blow up due to the Check Engine Light being always on. Otherwise, smooth.
AT IDLE: The LAMBSE for both Bank 1 and Bank 2 are at 1.00 +/- 0.01
And the LT Fuel Trim for both Bank 1 and Bank 2 are also at really steady 1.01
For some reason, my BAMA Handheld can't read AFR or ST Fuel Trim.
If more information is needed, let me know, I'll see if I can retrieve it.
The last time I went to the dealership, they noticed my O2 sensors were corroding at their extensions (since I have LT Headers), and to forego the $700 repair cost, they drowned them in di-electric grease.

With that information, does it justify the need to replace my Front Driver side O2 sensor (Bank 2, Sensor 1), or am I good to continue driving without a worry? It has already survived 2 1200mi round trip road trips between Atlanta and Indianapolis.

If I need to replace it, should I just opt in for Ford to replace it for me for an extra $100?

Bump.

Come'on, anybody? Or does this happen to be just an issue for my car and my car only?

It is? Darn.

Whether or not the sensor is the problem, is difficult to say over the internet. Corrosion, combined with the description for those codes may be all that's needed logically thinking.
Don't bother getting ANY O2 sensor from the parts store. Just get it from Ford. When I did my headers, the threads for the sensor on one of the factory logs was totally screwed up and made the sensor unusable. So I put in a Bosch. No good. Got another. Neither lasted very long at all before the light came back on. Got a Ford sensor, no more problems.

My plan was to save around $100 and buy myself an NTK front sensor from AM. Skip that idea and front the OEM cost?
