Hi everyone... I did something sooo stupid... (yes I already know it was stupid so plz don't criticize me)...


I am trying to surprise my husband... he has a 2006 Mustang Pony Package that needs ball joints. One side is done... on the other side I noticed I pressed it in and didn't make sure the bolt cut was lined up properly. Also, first time these have ever been replaced and neither side had the snap ring around them.. so really I have two questions...


1. Can I press out and repress the new one or will I have to go buy a new one once I press this one out?
2. Should I put the snap rings on that came w/ the ball joints even though neither side had them from the factory?


Like I said.. I already know that was stupid but I just want to get it done before he comes home from work....

All fixed...... And hubby is happy! Although I must say I am surprised I didn't get one answer... but then again I guess most wives don't fix their hubbies cars..
