If you look at it like 1200 for engine work and 400 tuning, then it's not so bad.
Don't laugh, but I after I installed my blower I never took it to a tuner or had it on the dyno. I've been rocking the canned ATI tune. It didn't take into account the P&P TB, LTs or 3.73 gears...so I'll be real interested on how it performs once I get it back

Yeah wonder if that contributed to your failure at all. With the extras you had I wouldn't be surprised if that messed with the boost levels and fuel maps. You should see more power and be more reliable having it tuned. I've seen the canned tunes pop completely stock motors just due to variances in production. Anytime you boost or spray a dyno session is always a good idea. Do you have a wideband to watch your AFR?

Nah, I don't think that was it. My fender liner had come off and before I had a chance to replace it I believe water got sucked up into my engine via the blower intake. It stalled, wouldn't start..and when it did a bunch of white smoke came out and the engine has been tapping ever since. I had the blower and mods installed in Jan 2012 and it didn't give up the ghost until June 2014. I do have the wide band add on for my Aeroforce tuner. I didn't install the pig tail, I did run the wire, so if the tuner doesn't have the pig tail then I'll shoot down there and install it real quick.

It's at Dennis Ramsey's shop down here..
