all it does is the same many tuners will do.
they program the pedal to give say 50% throttle when your only at 20%, just making the car think your pressing the pedal further than you are, so by the time your 1/2 way down your already at full throttle and any further does nothing

Yeah like said above you'd probably come out better with a tuner. You would have more options and adjustability and the whole tune would be written to work together not just changing the throttle response.
Who wrote the tune? I have had about six different rewrites so far and all are noticeably different. A street tune will have just slightly better than stock and a race tune will be a bit much for the street. You need somewhere in the middle. I'm running Brenspeeds tune now for their cams and it seems to be dead on.
