Just installed MGW shifter in my 2001 with the 3650 trans. It is hard to get into any gear, I cant even feel when its in neutral. I can get it to shift into 3rd ,4th but have to force it to get it into 1st , 2nd and reverse, and I cant get it into 5th at all. What is going on? The install went well and yes I did transfer the ball bushing onto the new shifter. Help?

 

Turns out they sent me a shifter for a T5, I have a 3650 and thats what I ordered, 3650 was listed on the invoice also. MGW is sending me the right one today. Only problem now is if I damaged anything bolting the t5 on as the ball extends down 3/8" more than the 3650 and thinking it was spring loaded or something I (forced)bolted it down all the way!?

 

only time will tell, best thing to remember is if it dont fit, dont force it
