Default *Help* Noise above 25mph

Please view video:
https://youtu.be/d6CNZ9qCWxU
Car: 05 mustang GT
Noise starts at 25mph and does not go away. Sounds like a helicopter chasing me in the car. No vibration, just noise.

Parts replaced after noise started:
Driveshaft
Axle Bearings
Rear gears
Rear Diff Unit + bearing kit
Brake pads/Rotors

anyone with experience have a clue??

Sounds like a bad front hub/bearing assembly, possibly a tire.

Have put 1 new hub on the right front but not the left. Reason I have ruled that out is because it sounds like it's coming from the rear.

All 4 tires are new as well

+ front wheels have no play

+ had bad wheel bearings before in front of other cars. You can't hear this reflecting off curbs/other cars like I could when I've had bad wheel bearings in the past

A Wump.....Wump.....Wump sound that increases in frequency with increased speed is normally a rear wheel bearing and axle!!

FORD 8.8" rears are famous for it...especially the right side ones!!

It does the above. Replaced axle bearings but not axles. Honestly believe it could be an axle shaft?

You should always replace both since the bearing runs on the axle surface and in time wears a groove in the axle...see photo!!

I tried to find a photo of my '04 Marauder axles at 177K miles.....had about a 1/8 inch groove where the bearing runs......Wump.....Wump.....Wump....BAD!!:icon_cry :

Good Luck!!

Not that I don't trust the above, but anyone else have ideas before I go drop $400 on axles?

Does a 2002 gt have an 8.8 rear?
