Missing VCT Oil Control Solenoid
OK so as the title says, my engine is missing both VCT oil control solenoids. They are simply not there. There is a little plug for each hole. The plugs look like they are a perfect fit. WHy on earth would these be gone? Are they not necessary for the engine to run?

Agreed sounds like one of your mods required lockouts which makes them useless. If I'd guess I'd say high lift Cam. I can't see your signature in the app haha.

Alright thanks that is very helpful. So I read about what the phaser limiters do but I dont quite understand it still. They "physically limit cam phasing to 20 degrees to allow independent control over intake and exhaust centerlines and eliminate piston to valve clearance issues"
So i take it these cams have such a lift that the limiters are necessary to keep from have clearance/interference issues?
