What tool do I need for tie rod replacement?
My inner tie rod is bent and I went to autozone to rent the tool but this wont slip on to the new one so I'm wondering if I can just use regular hand tools or if I do need a specific tool I can rent, please let me know it's bent and I need an alignment, thanks!

Yeah, the tool they loaned you is for the outer tie rod. The link in your second post is closer to what you need.
If you have one, a local tool shop like harbor freight will have one more readily available:

How did you bend the old one? curb check?
And you can try to use regular hand tools if 1) you have a large enough open end wrench to fit the tie rods hex and 2) you have the clearance to get the the wrench to turn. A crows foot would probably be best if you want to use simple hand tools but a crow's foot that size by itself is expensive.
This video will show you what you are in for and why the tie-rod tool is best.
